Our sister company Personal Staffing Ltd are looking for a Household Assistant for a warm, private family in
San Francisco. This will be to support their House Manager across two beautiful properties. The principals are kind and generous, and many of their staff have been with them for years. That loyalty says a lot about the household.

Key Responsibilities:
Own the family’s gifting programme: sourcing, buying, wrapping and delivering personal gifts for family, friends, colleagues and staff, and keeping track of key dates and preferences
Provide polished service when the family entertains, from intimate formal dinners to larger parties
Work with the florist to keep fresh arrangements throughout both properties
Run errands across the city with care and good judgement
Help the House Manager coordinate staff schedules for a small team of housekeepers, groundskeepers and other household staff

Highly organised, detail-focused and diligent, with an eye for beautiful presentation
Creative and resourceful, and enjoys finding the unique and personal
Confident with formal service and at ease with entertaining at every scale
Flexible and happy to take on a wide variety of tasks
Discreet, well presented and professional
A full, valid driving licence and confidence driving in San Francisco
Must be a US citizen or Green Card holder
Relocation support may be available for the right candidate, but relocating is ultimately the candidate’s responsibility

Move confidently between simple, elegant family-style dining and more elaborate three-course dinners as guests require
Cater to discerning and high-profile guests
Accommodate dietary requirements, preferences and the occasional family group with children
Manage menu planning, provisioning, budgets and stock control
Maintain exceptional standards of kitchen hygiene and organisation
