Role & Responsibilities
The Galley Department is currently seeking an experienced Head Chef to join a 70m+ private sailing yacht. The yacht operates a private programme with a relatively light owner usage schedule. The owners typically come on board several times throughout the year for short trips, usually lasting between three and four days, with the occasional trip extending to around one week. As a result, the role offers a balanced lifestyle while still providing the opportunity to deliver an exceptional guest experience when required. The vessel will spend the summer season cruising the United States before heading down to the Caribbean and then embarking on a more adventurous itinerary into the Pacific. This is an exciting opportunity for a chef who enjoys travelling and exploring diverse cruising grounds while being part of a professional and close-knit crew.
As Head Chef, you will oversee all galley operations and work alongside a Sous Chef, managing provisioning, menu planning, budgeting, inventory control and maintaining the highest standards of hygiene and food safety. You will be responsible for catering for up to 12 guests and approximately 15 crew members, ensuring a consistently high standard of cuisine across both guest and crew meals. The successful candidate will hold a minimum Y3 qualification and ideally have previous experience as Sole Engineer or Second Engineer on a similar-sized vessel. We are currently seeking a temporary First Mate to join a 25m+ sailing yacht for a one-month contract covering the leave of a permanent crew member. The position will commence on 1st July and run through to 5th August. Working closely alongside the Captain, the successful candidate will play a key role in the day-to-day operation of the yacht and must be able to step onboard and integrate seamlessly with the existing team.
As this is a sailing yacht, we are looking for a confident and experienced sailor with a proven background working on 25m+ sailing yachts. The Deck Department is currently looking for a Second Officer to join a 55m+ private motor yacht. The deck team consists of a Chief Officer, Bosun, two Deckhands, and the incoming Second Officer. Role & Responsibilities
Housekeeping & Laundry Steward/esses – Ready for Your Next Yacht?
The Interior department at Crew & Concierge is currently recruiting a Housekeeping & Laundry Steward/ess to join a well-known 75m+ sailing yacht. The vessel is currently in the shipyard and will depart in time for the Mediterranean summer season. This is a dual-season programme, with plans to cruise the Caribbean during the winter season. This role will be primarily focused on crew and guest laundry, so strong stain treatment knowledge and garment care skills are essential, with a consistently high standard required at all times. The position will also involve housekeeping duties, including a solid understanding of different fabrics and the appropriate cleaning or treatment methods. A keen eye for detail when maintaining and detailing guest areas is absolutely essential.
The ideal candidate will have strong hotel experience, and while previous yachting experience would be beneficial, it is not essential. We are looking for someone with excellent attention to detail, a positive team-player attitude, and a strong work ethic, who is eager to join a fantastic vessel offering the opportunity to build longevity within a supportive and well-regarded crew environment.
