Chief Engineer

CC4903 - 50.00 metre Sailing Yacht

We are looking for a Chief Engineer for a 50m Sailing Yacht. This is a rotational position, 8 weeks on, 8 weeks off.

You'll need to hold your Y3 license or equivalent and be a solid all-rounder, with an understanding of all associated machinery and equipment from the vessel's Deutz engines and auxiliary equipment to AV and VSAT - you don't need to be a full-blown technician but connectivity is important so you must be able to troubleshoot and resolve any issues.

You'll be joining in the Med but the vessel is dual season, with the usual Med/Caribbean itinerary. She is private with a fantastic crew in place. Shared cabin, an excellent salary of up to 10,000euro per month.

Start date in November with handover.

Shore-based positions within the yachting sector

We're looking for two Superintendents to work remotely within the Engineering sector.

This is a fantastic opportunity for Engineers who are wanting to move shore-based but still have some travel.

You'll need to be based in Europe for travel and communication purposes. We're looking for motivated individuals who are able to build and maintain relationships with other team members, engineers, yards and further related personnel. You'll be providing ongoing shore support from refit and warranty work, to projects, planning and completing all related administration.

You must have prior Superyacht experience but a commercial background before the move to yachting is also a benefit.

One Superintendent will be responsible for the support of a 100m+ vessel.

And One Superintendent will be responsible for the support of 1-2 70m+ vessels.

Second Engineer

CC4896 - 45.00 metre Sailing Yacht

We are looking for a Second Engineer for a 45m Sailing Yacht - this is a full-time position.

Qualifications are secondary to experience, however, if you don't have previous yachting experience a trade background would be hugely beneficial. Ideally, you'll need to hold your AEC.

You'll be assisting the Chief in the engine room with all duties - the vessel has a large enough engine to count toward sea time for licenses. Joining in Palma, the vessel will cross to the Caribbean in mid-November. Ideally, you'll join as soon as possible to become acquainted with the boat and the systems onboard.

Helping on deck is also required whether that's with some sailing operations or jumping in a tender.

Great crew onboard, you'll need to have a pitch-in attitude and also be happy being involved with guests.

Salary DOE with a great package including help towards courses.

Third Engineer

CC4895 - 62.00 metre Motor Yacht

We are looking for a Third Engineer for a 60m+ Motor Yacht. The vessel is private and this is a full-time position. 

Based in the US - you'll need to hold your B1/B2 visa and ideally be based in that area already. Full disclosure that the vessel currently has a minimal itinerary and will be based in Florida for the foreseeable. However, if you're looking to build your experience and have a base - this is the position for you. 

You will need to hold your AEC as a minimum qualification. You'll need to be savvy with engineering systems and procedures and have some understanding of AV/IT. If you can jump in a tender, that's also a plus. As for responsibilities you'll be carrying out sole ER watches, ensuring all maintenance schedules are adhered to, diagnose and carry out repairs, keep up with logs and admin with the support of the Chief and keep the engine room to an impeccable standard. 

Start date ASAP. Salary circa 4000usd, progression is also possible for those with a higher license.

AV/IT Officer

CC4894 - 75.00 metre Motor Yacht

We are looking for an AV/IT Officer for a 90m+ Motor Yacht currently in the Med. This is a fully AV/IT focussed role with only some ETO input as the engineering team already has an Electrician. This is a rotational role, with flexibility required due to quarantine practices - usually 10 weeks on 10 weeks off. 

You will need to be practical and hands-on with a positive attitude and excellent with guests, as it's an extremely front-facing role. You'll need to be experienced and knowledgeable with Cisco for networking, maintenance of security systems, work with a Windows Server environment from troubleshooting to upgrades and experience with various devices including Apple and Windows. Also VSAT, Crestron and lighting systems. 

You'll be responsible for the management of inventory and stock for AVIT related items - knowledge of IDEA would be great also. Media editing and knowledge of video editing software and photography is also an awesome addition.

Chief Engineer

CC4893 - 37 metre Sailing Yacht

We are looking for a Sole Engineer for a 37m Sailing Yacht. The vessel is private and charter. This is a full-time position.

You'll need to hold your MEOL as a minimum but ideally a Y4 or EOOW ticket with ample engineering experience. She'll be heading to Mainland Spain with a winter base there also. Winter will be general maintenance as she's just completed her annual survey with ABS.

You'll be responsible for keeping everything running within the Engine Room, the vessel has a Volvo Penta engine. You'll also need to be adept at managing any other systems from hydraulics to AV/IT as well as looking after the yacht's two tenders.

Start date as soon as possible to join in the Balearics.

Salary dependant on experience but up to 6000euro.

Mate / Engineer

CC4869 - 32 metre Sailing Yacht

We are looking for a Mate/Engineer for a 32m Sailing Yacht. This is a full-time position.

An amazing opportunity for the right candidate, the vessel is still in build and will be launched early next year with the plans to register her as commercial and then cruise/charter in the Med for next summer. The winter base will be Palma with the following summer in Norway then returning to Palma once again.

Part of a crew of five, on deck you'll have the assistance of a Deckhand whom you'll also need to oversee and manage. Sailing experience is a big plus for this reason and a deck license would be appreciated but not mandatory. In the engineering department, you'll be solely responsible for all systems and that will include liaising with the yard for any warranty after launch. An AEC license would work but please note the engine size is not large enough to assist with advancing sea time.

Great Captain, salary dependant on experience around 5000euro. Start date in November.

Chief Engineer

We are looking for a Chief Engineer for a 44m private/charter Motor Yacht. This is a temporary position but could relay into a 2:2 rotation for the right person.

You'll need to hold your Y3 license or equivalent and be a solid all-rounder. Ultimately a Sole position you'll need to be familiar with CAT engines, northern light gens and all auxiliary equipment as well as a full understanding of electrical and AV/IT systems.

The vessel will cruise the Mediterranean until the end of October then head to Palma for the winter.

The vessel is single season with a base in the Med. She's commercial and charters throughout the summer months between Spain and Italy.

Cook / Stewardess

This is a couple's position linked with job - CC4842

We are looking for a Cook/Stew/Deck to work with their Captain partner on a gorgeous 82" sailing yacht. The vessel is both private and charter, with a great itinerary planned.

You'll need to be a solid all-rounder and capable of managing the interior including housekeeping, laundry and service to cooking for the family and friends that come onboard. You have some artistic license with your menu and great presentation and utilising local produce is appreciated. It would be ideal if you've completed a cooking course to expand your knowledge and skillset. You'll also need to assist on deck so have a love of sailing and be happy with general deck operations and helping with maintenance.

The vessel will cross to the Caribbean for this winter and will have 4-6 charters alongside boss trips, she'll then either head up the East Coast to Newport or cross back and head to the Eastern Med.

We're looking for a couple with solid longevity who would like to commit to another programme again for some time.

Engineer

Shore-based couple's position - linked with CC4840

We are looking for an Operations Manager/Engineer for a small private resort in the Bahamas.

This is a great position to take on responsibility and ownership of the operational side of the island. You'll need to be adaptable and ready to handle a variety of tasks as well as being technically minded to be hands-on. Organisation is key, with your time as well as with your tools and spares including ordering.

Ideally, you'll have boat experience but not a necessity. However, it's great if you have experience working with smaller crafts, outboards, generators, air conditioners and watermakers. You'll also need to be technically savvy and confident with electronics, computers as well as AV/IT.

You'll be working alongside the landscaping team and also overseeing other staff. It's a small team so a positive, pitch-in attitude is needed.
