Chief Engineer

We are looking for a capable Chief Engineer for a 40m Charter Motor Yacht based in The Med. This will be a full-time role.

You must hold your Y3 or equivalent license and be an accomplished Engineer with proven longevity on a similar-sized vessel.

The vessel is private and charter, with a number of charters already planned for the summer. She runs with MTU engines, so familiarity or even a completed course would be extremely beneficial. The vessel is just single season with a winter base in Spain.

If you're a keen individual, who's a team player and wants to be part of a solid crew, this is the position for you. Start date is ASAP. Own cabin also.

Second Engineer

CC4498 - 65.00 metre Motor Yacht

We are looking for a Second Engineer for a 60m+ Motor Yacht.

The vessel has been well maintained and we're looking for someone organised and hands-on for the role.

You'll need to hold minimum MEOL and have ample industry experience, or Y4/commercial equivalent. This is a full-time role, but the vessel is single-season so you'll have a base for the winter in the Med.

Your maintenance skills must be top-notch, with a thorough understanding of yacht systems, auxiliary equipment and also be willing to help with the tenders and toys onboard. We're looking for a team player, with a positive attitude and excellent work ethic.

Chief Engineer

CC4494 - 42.00 metre Motor Yacht

We are looking for a Chief Engineer for a 40m+ Motor Yacht - the vessel is private and there is a 2:2 rotation on offer.

You must hold your Y2 or equivalent license and be an accomplished Engineer with proven longevity on a similar-sized vessel. You'll also need to hold a valid B1/B2 visa.

The vessel is primarily based in the US, and will also enter a large refit period so familiarity with yard responsibilities will be key. Also, strong management skills as you'll be overseeing a 2nd Engineer.

We're looking for someone who is a strong all-rounder, can complete admin but also remain hands-on with all practical work.

Chief Engineer

CC4488 - 49 metre Motor Yacht

We are looking for a Build Engineer for an incredibly interesting project.

Being built in Northern Europe, you'll need to be available ASAP. Ideally, you'll hold your Y2 license or equivalent with ample new build experience under your belt.

The project still has a good amount of time left, so you'll need to be happy to be land-based and work alongside an excellent team and Captain.

The next phase will be review, inspect and PMS. You'll need to be adept at navigating and populating IDEA, assisting with drawings, inspections and servicing. There'll be large amounts of technical data for review and reporting.

This is a heavily administrative and meeting based role - communications are written in English so a good grasp of the language, written and oral will be required.

Salary is dependant on experience. Due to work permits, you'll need to hold an EU passport.

We are looking for a build Engineer with solid commissioning experience behind them for a 50m+ Sailing Yacht.

You will need to hold your Y3/Y2 or commercial equivalent. You'll need to be organised and committed to the project.

The spec and drawings are now locked in, with installations about to commence. You'll be required for QC and supervision for the contractors onboard. After project completion, there is the option to go to sea and begin a rotation with the vessel.

Ideally someone in Europe for travel purposes. You'll be based near the yard in crew accommodation provided. Start date as soon as available. Sailing knowledge or build knowledge on a sailing yacht is extremely beneficial.

Chief Engineer

We are looking for a permanent sailing Engineer for a 40m Sailing Yacht.

Ideally, someone holding their MEOL or have excellent experience and knowledge within engineering. You'll also need to hold your B1/B2 as the vessel will finish up in the Caribbean then head up the Eastern seaboard for the summer. Ultimately, this boat will be world cruising and head to some remote locations so self-sufficiency is key. Sailing ability is also a huge bonus due to the amount of cruising the vessel will be doing.

1 MTU diesel engine, plenty of power and KW for advancing licenses. We're looking for someone organised, happy to get stuck in and be a solid member of the crew.

We are currently looking for an Engineer to join a 35m Sailing Yacht that is currently in the Caribbean. You will need to have previous experience working on a similar sized boat. This is a full-time role, the boat spends its summers in Newport and winters in the Caribbean. A B1/B2 will be required.

The boat sails as much as possible and therefore a solid understanding of sailing systems will be required. You will need to be organised and able to keep the engine room to a high standard. This position is for someone who is keen to commit the boat longterm.

We are looking for a Chief Engineer for a 60+m Sailing Yacht.

You'll need to hold your Y3 license as a minimum or the commercial equivalent. Someone with a commercial background will also be looked upon favourably.

The boat is single season, basing itself out of Mallorca with a Med cruising summer. Someone in this area would be ideal.

She has MTU engines as well as two jet tenders to maintain. You'll need to be practical and the hands-on type who is happy to get stuck in and work to maintain the engine room and vessel as a whole.

Chief Engineer

CC4433 - 40.00 metre Sailing Yacht

We are looking for an Engineer for a 40m Ketch. Sailing experience is advantageous.

Joining in the Med, there'll be a Med cruising summer season then be based in Spain for the winter.

License isn't paramount but solid experience is, you'll need to be familiar with large sailing yacht systems, managing the engine room and assisting elsewhere. Engines are large enough to count towards sea time for ticket advancement. The boat is in the yard for some prep works leading up to the start of their season, so experience here is beneficial.

The vessel has MTU engines and Northern Light generators along with a Williams Jet and crew tender to maintain. She went through a large refit in 2017 so is in excellent condition. You'll need to be organised and manage your time wisely as well as keeping on top of preventative maintenance.

Start date - as soon as the right person is found. Good salary up to 7500e on offer depending on experience.

Chief Engineer

CC4376 - 56.00 metre Motor Yacht

We are looking for a capable Chief Engineer for a 55m+ Motor Yacht based in the Southern Hemisphere.

You'll need to hold a minimum of a Y3/Y2 or equivalent license and a sound knowledge of CAT engines, Northern Light Generators & Quantum Stabilisers. Also electrical and AV/IT knowledge would also be needed. The yacht works with IDEA so familiarity with this or something similar would be ideal, this is a full time role.

You'll join at the end of the yard period in the Med but then be flown to Australia to re-join once the boat arrives.

The boat is dual season and will cruise the southern hemisphere and hopefully reach Tahiti and Polynesia, for this reason we're looking for someone who's happy to be based in this area therefore an Aussie or NZ national would be preferred.

Chief Engineer

CC4373 - 59 metre Motor Yacht

We're looking for a Y3 or equivalent Chief Engineer for an exciting 50m+ Motor Yacht in the latter stages of build. 

You'll need to have ample experience in the engine room and be a strong all-rounder covering all mechanical, electrical and AV/IT systems. You'll be able to work in a spacious engine room with modern machinery, high end and custom systems. You need to be adaptable and turn your hand to anything and have an invested interest in setting the boat up to the highest spec and maintaining that during your time onboard.

The vessel is taking a stance on being fuel-efficient and it's design compliments this. The build is launching this year with a brief Owner onboard period before completing warranty works in the Med over the winter. You'll need to be familiar with commissioning and sea trial stages. 

Someone with solid longevity would be appreciated, with a team player attitude who's ready to pitch in where needed.

This is a full-time position even after delivery - there is discussion of rotation when the vessels programme changes from single-season - it's ideal for someone who wants to get that build experience or who has a base in Mallorca for the winter. Yard and build knowledge are massively beneficial.
