Finding a job with Crew and Concierge

We do not accept CV’s by email. We need your CV in a format that is stored on our database in order for us to carry out searches.

  • Register online for free.
  • Check your profile online regularly.
  • Why not give us a call every now and then too?
  • Apply online for any of the positions that you are suitable for.
  • Every morning this is checked. If we think that you are a suitable candidate we will contact you for a face-to-face chat to get to know you, or call you for a telephone interview if you are not near one of our locations.
  • Note: It is very important to let us know if you have already been put forward for this position by another Agent.
  • Your CV will then be forwarded to our Client with a recommendation from us. It is then in the Captain’s hands to contact you direct.

If the client likes you we will proceed with the reference check procedure. If you are unsuccessful in your application we may not always get back to you. Sometimes we are a little overrun with crew. We apologise for this.

If you are in any of our locations where we have representatives we would like to interview you in person. Please send an email requesting this. We will then get back to you as soon as possible with a time, date and location. Please confirm that you can make this appointment. If on the day you are sick or have work please call us first thing in the morning to let us know. It’s frustrating if there is a no-show as this will be considered an indication of a lack of reliability.

Like most agencies in Europe we expect you to dress smartly for the interviews we send you for; wear minimal makeup and jewellery. Bad breath is not desirable. Ensure you have clean nails and toenails as you will be asked to take your shoes off before you enter the vessel.

Crew and Concierge as an agency are happy to put forward “Newbies” to join this industry. We all have to start somewhere.
